Principal Owner and CEO
Ryan has 21 years of business experience working in the lending, real estate and construction industries. His diverse background and over 25 years of entrepreneurship and executive leadership brought him to co-founding Shamrock Acquisitions in 2008. He is a proven prospector and has established an extensive realtor network through building strong relationships in the industry. He is a leader in leveraging strategic relationships and building foundations with the right people.
Ryan oversees and manages day-to-day operations in the acquisition, construction and property management divisions for Shamrock Acquisitions. Ryan has proven to be an efficient and highly organized project manager expanding across all asset classes.
Matthew B. Duffield
Principal Owner and President
With over 23 years of experience in the mortgage and real estate industry, Matthew Duffield is a proven prospector, marketer, client advocate and investor. While at Quicken Loans, Matthew lead the country’s largest online lender in sales, closed volume, and revenue for over 12 consecutive years. In 2008, he left his day-to-day operations and started consulting investors and banks on disposition of REO properties. As the opportunity became evident, Matthew established a real estate brokerage.
Since then, Shamrock has acquired several hundred homes throughout the foreclosure process. As a team leader, Matthew has been the driving force behind the acquisitions of different asset classes in Michigan, Florida, California, Ohio, and Indiana.
Operations Manager and Acquisitions Manager
Lisa has been in the Real Estate and Acquisitions Industry for over 12 years. Early in her career, she was a team leader of distressed assets located all across Michigan, for multiple banking financial institutions. Lisa joined Shamrock Acquisitions in 2012 and brought with her team management experience and vast construction knowledge. With Lisa’s highly organized attitude and always trying new creative ideas with technology, she has continued to help the company grow with implementing efficient procedures, new online platforms and employee benefit programs.
At Shamrock, Lisa currently manages day to day operations, analysis all acquisitions, commercial management and oversees multi-family management and financial division.
Property and Leasing Manager
Gina has been working in commercial and residential property management for over 20 years. Gina also brings many years of experience as a bookkeeper and managing multiple accounts on multiple rental properties. With Gina’s effective communicating skills, she keeps all accounts on track and resident issues resolved quickly. She utilizes her skills to insure our residents enjoy their Leasing experience with Shamrock Acquisitions.
President of Biltmore Development
David brings over 17 years of real estate acquisition and development experience to the firm. David specializes in property negotiation and acquisition, market research, physical site analysis, financial analysis, project financing, capital procurement, land-use entitlements, land planning and design, permitting, site construction, and commercial land sales.
David has developed conventional subdivisions, apartments, attached and detached condominiums in different community types including: golf course, mixed-use, master-planned and neo-traditional communities. He has also developed over 100 acres of commercially zoned property.
Director of Florida and California Acquisitions
Alexander Morgan is the Director of Acquisitions and specifically oversees the asset management for Shamrock’s Florida and California properties. Alex has 8 years of experience in the field of investment management and real estate financing. Prior to his position with Shamrock Acquisitions he worked as a marketing manager for a consumer finance company and has been instrumental in the organizational development of a handful of startup companies including a business networking organization. He has a passion for developing unique and innovative processes to create an efficient and logical system.
Alex resides in Lake Orion, MI with his wife Alexandra. He enjoys golfing in Northern Michigan and serving as a board member on the Michigan Melanoma Foundation.
Florida Project Manager
Erik has been a full time real estate professional since 2008, sharing his passion for creative real estate solutions with the industry. Having started his real estate career in the height of the foreclosure crisis, Erik focused on the investment properties and quickly became known for his value add approach to the marketplace.
Erik continues to be a value based investor and team leader in both his personal and professional life. Erik resides in Ft. Lauderdale with his wife son.
COO, Shamrock West
David has worked in as a senior manager in commercial and investment banking for 17 years before joining Shamrock, with a focus on multi-family development financing, fund control, and Los Angeles based real estate portfolio management. He eventually broadened his scope to sourcing investment monies, project procurement, and project management. David manages Shamrocks west coast operations.
His primary focus is on project procurement and capital stack structuring for Shamrock’s student housing, multi-family, transitional housing and SFR developments. David lives in the South Bay of L.A. with his wife Audria and his 2 boys, Kaiser and Grayson.
